not a big API to know, yuo can use simply your knowledge.
But before start writing check is somebody already solved the problem for you in the
plugins zone.
The installation of the tool is so easy, you need just a web server whitch supports PHP, MySql and Apache. Just the time to put some information in the installation form "et voila!".
